Expressions through Architectural Design Elements & Principles
The fundamentals of design: Principle and Elements are introduced in this project. It aims to successfully convey the design intent through The Serial Geometry Tattoo Transformation process.
I learned to develop my understanding on the basics of design and the building blocks of architectural thinking through sketching and model making.
Presentation Board
The tattoo stamps each follow a principle and element with an added rotation rule to tie in all the designs together.
The models on Board 4 were then built off the element and principle of 'Shape and Scale' from Board 2, and follows the composition of 'Datum' from Board 3.
The final models were then based off the Board 4 model placed at the top left.
