Process

It was difficult determining the overall architectural style of the urban, suburban and rural locations we chose as each places had many different styles of buildings. We tackled this by doing a lot of digging and going through Google Map to come to a conclusion.

I was also given the task of coming up with the Sense of Place, and Culture and Activities which was more difficult than I expected because I evidently do not live in Canada so finding the 'Sense of Place' was tricky. I overcame this obstacle by doing reading up on people's reviews of The Bentway on the internet since it gave me insight on real people's opinions.

Reflection

I have never heard of any such structure like The Bentway before so I had lots of eye opening moments to see how redundant spaces can be transformed to fit many different purposes.

Thinking and Problem Solving skills

I did the research for 'Sense of Place' and 'Culture and Activities'. It was quite difficult as this was a foreign place to me and I had to talk about it intimately so I had to find ways to get the Torontonians' perspective which is through reviews and ratings on The Bentway.
