Creating a solitary haven for a chosen family member, considering site context and space functionality.
Design a solitary haven that immerses both user's love of nature, one that include spaces that allow the users to interact with facets of nature in their own time, and as a cherished shared experience
Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality + Context + User
This project has made me realise the importance of the natural environment in the design process, especially the ideation process, of a building.
Materiality is also an aspect that inherently influences the direction of the project, and so it should be considered and researched very thoroughly in order to befit the narrative I have chosen in context to the chosen family member I am designing this for.
